Pen tool is very useful and important tool in Photoshop. Pen too is use for selection of objects in image and Pen tool create a vector path selection for using vector based graphics. Pen tool creates a vector path selection but after complete selection using vector graphics we will convert this vector path in selection based graphics easily. Pen tool basically available in Photoshop in 5 types which are used for best image editing and graphics designing. This types of Pen tool is used for improvement of selection which we are creates using pen tool.
Types of Pen tool:
- Pen tool

- Add Anchor point tool
- Delete Anchor point tool
- Convert point tool
- Open Image in Photoshop.
- select pen tool from Photoshop tool bar or press 'P' from keyboard.
- click on image to see that the little point is created and click on another part of image you can see create a straight line between two points which we are click from mouse.
- If we click one part of image and release mouse button and then click in another part of image and don't release mouse button and move mouse you can see that the line is not straight.
- If we select any object using Pen tool we can select easily.
- You see that above image to show you on different points.
- Right click on the image to show a new box.
- Enter a Feather Radius value and press OK.
- Create selection easily.
How to use Freeform Pen tool;
- Open Photoshop Application.
- select Pen tool from tool bar and right click on Pen tool to show a Pen tool flyout.
- Select Freeform Pen tool
- This tool work same from Lasso tool but Freeform Pen tool creates vector based graphics selection and Lasso tool creates selection.
How to use Add Anchor point tool;
- Open Photoshop Application.
- select Pen tool from tool bar and right click on Pen tool to show a Pen tool flyout.
- Select Add Anchor Point Tool.
- This tool name show how it work. This tool Add more anchor point in vector based selection which we are created from Pen tool or Freeform Pen tool.
How to use Delete Anchor point tool;
- Open Photoshop Application.
- select Pen tool from tool bar and right click on Pen tool to show a Pen tool flyout.
- Select Delete Anchor Point Tool.
- This tool name show how it work. This tool Delete anchor point in vector based selection which we are created from Pen tool or Freeform Pen tool.
How to use Convert point tool;
- Open Photoshop Application.
- select Pen tool from tool bar and right click on Pen tool to show a Pen tool flyout.
- Select Convert Point Tool.
- This tool name show how it work. This tool convert the position of anchor point in vector based selection which we are created from Pen tool or Freeform Pen tool.
